The news of Google planning to launch a new PixelBook broke out as they are planning to launch it in the ‘Made by Google’ hardware showcase. It wouldn’t be right to call it a PixelBook 2 rather the PixelBook Go. They’re saying it’s going to be a follow up to the previous model of the PixelBook. This will also allow them to tilt towards a more traditional take on Chromebooks.

This laptop might be grouped into as the one being a return to the more tried-and accurate Chromebook. This device is a portable one and more ergonomic clamshell laptop form.

During a hardware-focused session arranged by Google at the Google Cloud Next 2019, we looked at PixelBook and Pixel Slate, and a presentation slide indicated about what was coming next. The slide read, ‘suggesting a future google laptop.”

PixelBook Go might become that laptop since it’s been created for far greater purpose than just modern workforce. Those were the words of Google speaking to the enterprise in a session as cloud next. It was for us seemed like a Chromebook for anyone that can live within the leaps of Chrome OS.

This Laptop is going to be more unresponsive compared to the PixelBook and other laptops in the market because it has been built purely and intentionally for portability. It has a tactile feel towards its bottom and it makes it easier to hold. Compared to the original PixelBook it is also very light in weight and it is because of the magnesium alloy bodies.

It is almost confirmed that the original ‘atlas’ laptop whose videos and snaps have been going viral as recently as last week is indeed this new PixelBook Go, expected to be launched next month.

As far as the specifications are concerned, we can confirm many of them through inexorable burrowing in the chromium source code.

It comes with a 16:9 and 13.3-inch touchscreen display and all of the PixelBook Go models will have the same display. You can choose both 4K and HD display and it depends on your liking for any of the models. 4K display is only available in higher end models and it will get the same molecular display branding as the pixel slate.

After the Lenovo Yoga Chromebook C630, it will be only the 2nd Chromebook with 4K display option.

It is going to be available in a variety of prices and different tiers like the previous editions of the PixelBook and Pixel Slate. Processing power and the RAM would however no longer remain the same. The PixelBook Go is coming out in Intel Core m3, i5 and i7 configurations along with 8GB, 16GB of RAM, 64 GB, 128 GB and 256GB of storage.

With two front-firing speakers, the PixelBook Go gets the lead in this department as well. Two mics on the front along with a 2MP front facing camera which has the ability to capture 1080 at 60fps. Like the Pixel Slate, a Tital C chip, Wifi and Bluetooth will also feature in the specifications.

The Go offers almost the same ports and jacks as the original PixelBook. Two USB-C ports are installed in the PixelBook Go with one on each side and each one of them accompanying the LED. There’s a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. Reviewers and reports suggest that they’re coming in two colors which are Just Black and Not So Pink.

There’s no final word on the prices of these devices but still we feel that it should be somewhere around $799 and going.

PixelBook doesn’t stand alone in the Google’s devices which are going to be launched in the 10/15 event in New  York City. The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL, which is the 2nd generation of the Nest Mini smart-spearker, a new Nest Wifi are also standing in line to be launched.
