PhoneBuff, a Youtuber puts Apple iPhone XS Max and brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ in a head to head speed test. In this test latest Note 10+ beats a one year old iPhone XS Max, but the margin is probably not as big as you might think. After all, Samsung’s flagship device Note 10+ is loaded with a 12GB of RAM.

Samsung’s Galaxy S10+ has won this speed test competition by a margin of 16 seconds against iPhone XS Max. Samsung S10+ has Snapdragon 855 chipset and 8GB RAM on board where as the latest Note 10+ has Snapdragon along with 12GB RAM and UFS 3.0 storage system on board. This victory of S10+ was the first time any Samsung Smartphone device has beaten iPhone device since Note 5.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is the first device to beat an iPhone in the first lap of the PhoneBuff speed test. It has beaten iPhone XS Max by 30 seconds in an overall 2 laps speed test competition.

Apple’s upcoming flagship device is expected to take back the crown of these speed test as soon as it is released next month. This is a positive competition because it is pushing all the companies to build more and more powerful flagship devices for its customers.
