It is very unfortunate to see LG not participating in the MWC 2020 because of the coronavirus concerns but it seems that the electronics giant from South Korea is working extremely hard on their next flagship handset. Evan Blass gave a few hints of what to expect from the new LG V60 ThinQ.
Blass also shared some images that were reportedly taken from an ad campaign of the phone. The LG V60 ThingQ will be coming with four microphone channels.
We cannot reveal or predict too much about the information that were extracted from the pictures of the four mics but we can somehow say that some of them are made to avoid the noise during video and audio sessions. However, the picture shows, as previously speculated, a quad-camera unit on the rear.
If we look back at the previous models of LG then the LG V50 ThingQ 5G was packed with at least one lens along with optical image stabilization (OIS). Standard and ultra-wide lenses were also available in that device. So we can expect the company to offer all of those features once again with an additional ToF or macro sensor.
The addition of a 3.5 mm headphone port, which indicates a return of LG’s beloved 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad-DAC audio functionality, which is a mainstay of premium appliances since the LG G5, is another tidbit that will surely make fans happy.
If you take a closer look at the design and structure of the LG V60 ThingQ then you can clearly see the powerful 5,000mAh battery that is 1,000mAh bigger than the previous V50 ThingQ 5G.
For obvious reasons, we cannot confirm any of the above-provided information to be completely accurate. We will have to wait until the manufacturers or the company itself provides something conclusive about their new handset.
We will also say that if any of the above-provided information comes out to be true then we can safely say that we’re going to see something special from LG.
