Samsung has always been known for producing quality products in every department and they followed up the same trend for impressive Galaxy Watch. It was the last product in the category of physically rotating bezels.
Though the Galaxy Watch Active arrived in 2019, the bezels were removed physically and the company made this compromise with the Galaxy Watch Active 2 that was introduced merely after six months of its successor’s debut.
So the new arrival Galaxy Watch Active 2 is coming out with a digital bezel and it somehow satisfies the customer. However, both of them differ a lot in look and design. We have been hearing news about Samsung announcing a new Galaxy Watch. However, it is still not clear whether it’s going to be the Galaxy Watch 2 or the Galaxy Watch Active 3.
Samsung’s manufacturers and designers always keep the thrill and suspense before any of their product launches. We also heard somebody saying that the internal storage on the existing models is going to be upgraded to 8GB from 4GB. Also, when you look at their branding style recently, you never know if these guys will come up with entirely different and a new product.
Get ready for double internal storage
We have been hearing all sorts of news but one thing is confirmed and that is the arrival of a new smartwatch with model numbers SM-R840/845 and SM-R850/855. A lot of things haven’t been decided yet and we’re waiting to see what Samsung does with the size of its new device.
Whether they will remain 40mm or 44mm like the Galaxy Watch Active 2 or the sizes are going to be increased? For each model, there will also be a cellular variant. Surely they will be LTE-activated.
Also, Samsung has been chirping a lot about trying 5G this year and it also gives an indication of what’s going to come our way. Are we going to see the first 5G smartwatch in 2022 by Samsung? It seems a daunting task but someone has to jump into this sea.
If we talk about the features then the whole lineup will get access to 8GB of internal storage that is double of Samsung’s all recent products. With an 8GB storage, you’re going to get a lot of apps and music stored on your device, and it is definitely great for those who don’t like the cellular model.
The new design will also bring lots of new things such as the updated internals and new software functions. It is also being reported that the SM-R840 is going to have a 330mAh battery that is bigger than the 247mAh battery on the 40mm Galaxy Watch Active 2.
We can smell something huge cooking in the new smartwatch department by Samsung and we cannot reveal much detail at this moment. However, don’t expect this smartwatch to be released on Samsung’s Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z Flip launch on the 11th of February.
We live in a world of social media and things don’t require much time to get leaked. However, Samsung is ensuring full security to its new smartwatch before its arrival and we can expect it to be released in the second half of 2022. Also, it can get released alongside the Galaxy Note 20.
